European stock index futures point to sharp drop
PARIS, Nov 20 (Reuters) - European stock index futures pointed to a sharp drop at the open on Thursday, following a plunge on Wall Street and in Asia on mounting fears over the prospect of a deep global slowdown.
At 0601 GMT, futures for the Eurostoxx 50 STXEc1, Germany's DAX FDXc1 and the French CAC 40 FCEc1 were down between 2.8 and 3.0 percent. (Reporting by Blaise Robinson, editing by Atul Prakash)
