US CDS index out 25 bps to record 270 bps-Markit
NEW YORK, Nov 20 (Reuters) - U.S. credit default swaps extended a sharp widening trend on Thursday, with the main investment-grade index widening 25 basis points to a record 270 basis points, according to data from Markit Intraday.
Concerns about the ailing commercial real estate market and mounting troubles at U.S. automakers were weighing on investors' appetite for risk, strategists said. (Reporting by Dena Aubin; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
