GM's bonds fall 4.75 cents to 14 cents on dollar
NEW YORK, Nov 20 (Reuters) - General Motors Corp's (GM.N) long bonds fell to 14 cents on the dollar after hitting a record low of 12 cents earlier on Thursday amid uncertainty about a government bailout for the automaker.
The 8.375 percent bonds due in 2033 had closed on Wednesday at 18.75 cents on the dollar, according to MarketAxess.
GM's shares hit a 70-year low as prospects dimmed that lawmakers would reach a compromise on a proposed $25 billion bailout for U.S. automakers before Congress adjourns this week.
