AARHUS, Denmark (Reuters) - Denmark's Vestas, the world's biggest wind turbine maker, has not noticed customers cancelling or renegotiating booked orders due to the financial crisis, its top executive said on Thursday.

"Yes, it's the same. We don't see that," Vestas Chief Executive Ditlev Engel told investors during a tour of the company's facilities at a capital markets day.

Engel said the crisis had however affected potential customers in some geographic areas and that some planned projects had seen their financing pulled out by banks amid the financial distress, while others had not been affected.
